About Queer Care

Queer Care was created to make finding safe, affirming healthcare easier for patients because it shouldn’t be this hard to receive respectful care.

Founded in 2023 by Dr. Savannah Jones and Dr. Krystyna Holland, Queer Care began as a grassroots Instagram campaign born out of a simple need: knowing where to confidently refer patients who required care outside our own practices. That first in-person gathering filled our office with queer and trans healthcare providers from across Denver, all eager to connect, collaborate, and better serve our community.

Since then, Queer Care has grown into an ongoing effort to connect LGBTQ+ individuals with affirming providers across disciplines, strengthen referral networks, support ethical collaboration, and build a more accessible healthcare ecosystem for our community. We host quarterly healthcare provider meet-ups in queer-owned spaces around Denver so providers can connect and our list of quality healthcare can continue to grow.
